Collection of information
When you place an order, request a catalogue, or provide feedback using our web site we need to know certain information (most notably name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and your credit card number and expiry date or bank account details).We gather this information to allow us to process your request. The relevant information is then used by us, to provide you with the service you have requested and to communicate with you on any matter relating to the provision of the service in general. We and our contractors may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring our web site usage in order to help us develop the web site and our service. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual. We sometimes may wish to provide you with information about special features of our web site or any special service or products Creeds can offer which we think may be of interest to you. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer by web sites. A cookie contains identifying information. The cookie is used to make the link between you and the information you have provided to the web site. The information you give us is solely used for processing your order, your payment and for the normal administrative and marketing tasks of Creeds. We will not sell or rent any of it to other companies.
When you give us credit card information over the phone, the record of security codes, valid from and expiry dates is shredded immediately after payment so as to protect your banking identity. We do not record any of your credit card or banking details on our computer system. All customer paper files are kept securely in filing cabinets and locked at night, only employees of Creeds can access your information. All computer files are password protected and only Creeds sales and logistics employees have access to them. Any customer can ask at anytime to review and amend if necessary the content of the information we hold about them.
Selling the business and updating your details
If in the unlikely event of Creeds (Southern) Ltd is purchased or merged with another company some of our customer's information may be needed during the transition period and all details will become ownership of the new owners.
