About Creeds Direct
Supporting Britain’s Bakers for 65 Years
Creeds Direct (Creeds Southern Ltd) was founded in 1961 with a simple mission: supply professional bakers with equipment they could rely on.
What began with stainless steel tables manufactured in the North of England quickly evolved. Our Sales Manager at the time saw an opportunity to support bakeries more completely and introduced bakery utensils alongside the tables. Those additions transformed the business.
Utensils rapidly became the heart of Creeds, and our reach expanded beyond the South to serve bakeries across the North and Scotland. From the very beginning, our team was on the road visiting bakeries day in and day out, building relationships that still define who we are today.

In 1999, Creeds made a pivotal decision that would shape the next era of growth: we began importing high-quality bakery machinery from leading European manufacturers.
We built strong partnerships with suppliers in Spain and Germany, soon followed by exceptional manufacturers in Portugal and Italy. These relationships strengthened our offering and positioned Creeds as a trusted machinery supplier to professional bakeries across the UK.
Since then, machinery sales have underpinned the continuous expansion of the business, allowing us to serve bakeries of all sizes with both everyday essentials and large-scale production equipment.
