The range for the probe is -49 to + 299.9B0C with a 0.4B0C accuracy and for the infrared -49 to +349.9B0C with a 1B0C accuracy.
Comes with a free traceable certificate of calibration. The stainless-steel probe measures liquids or semi-solid core temperature and displays the temperature within 3 seconds. The probe conveniently folds back through 180B0 into the side of the instrument when not in use.
