These environmentally friendly proving baskets are strong and durable, made of woven willow wood cane these make a cheaper and ideal natural alternative to our wicker proving basket. Perfect bannetons for the organic or traditional baker. (Weight Limit stated applies to approx. quantity of dough) PLEASE NOTE to keep the quality of these baskets during use they must be dried completely before stacking and every 2 months or so cleaned out thoroughly.

These baskets are made using natural cane and stainless-steel staples to avoid any rust issues (these staples are therefore difficult to detect by a metal detector).
